Goodman Networks is a telecommunications company helping customers design, engineer, deploy, integrate and maintain complex and converging networks.
Goodman Networks’ growth has fueled a need for a robust Warehouse Management System to enable it to make its operational and distribution processes more efficient. We went through a rigorous selection process before being selected as the vendor of choice. This is a 6 facility implementation, with the first facility expected to go live in Feb 2012.
We started this project in October 2011 and have been helping Goodman in not just the implementation of Oracle WMS but also in defining their overall strategy, in line with industry best practices.
Zebra Technologies has been one of our most valued customers. We originally got involved with Zebra more than 2 years ago. They were looking to replace their Baan and other assorted legacy systems with a single ERP. This is a highly complex and involved multi-year global rollout of Oracle.
We have been with them every step of the way, from first designing a truly global solution in conjunction with all the other pieces in the puzzle – MDM, Planning etc. to actual implementation, go-live and post go-live support. Zebra went live at EMEA in the beginning of this year. North America go-live is slated for February 2012.
Zebra is one of the most heavily serial controlled clients for Oracle WMS and one that brought with it a unique set of challenges that we, with the support of Oracle WMS Development as always, have overcome.
Huawei is the largest implementation of Oracle WMS in the world. When all phases are completed, they will have over 2500 people using Oracle WMS.
We have been spearheading the Distributed WMS architecture and solution for over a year. We worked closely with Oracle WMS Development and Huawei to identify and resolve multiple issues and to go through multiple prototype and test cycles. A heartfelt thanks to all the Oracle folks who have focused so much effort and energy on Huawei!
Huawei just went live with the first Warehouse on 17th December 2011 and will roll out to other warehouses beginning 2012.
The successful completion of this project will, we believe, mark a major milestone for Oracle WMS in terms of scalability and scope.
Gaea Global architected the Inventory Management Solution which will be the supporting system for procuring equipment ultimately intended for installation and data center use.
We had first talked to Yahoo about a year ago when they were investigating an EAM and OAT solution. When they decide to focus on their inventory management process, they turned to us as a partner they knew and trusted.
Gaea Global worked with Yahoo IT to architect and put in place a WMS solution that allows them to streamline and automate their manufacturing and warehouse operations.
We worked with Redline Solutions to deliver a complete hardware and software solution.
World Wide Technology (“WWT”) handles the supply chains for AT&T, Dell and quite a few other companies. They were a ClearOrbit customer, and we are helping them transition to Oracle WMS. With very complex requirements, we have built extensions that allow them to streamline their operations including the ability to receive and pick entire BOMs and sophisticated Bulk Picking capabilities that tremendously improve picking efficiencies.
Their requirements are different from other customers because their business model is built around satisfying whatever supply chain requirements their client base requires them to do. Efficiency is key as every wasted operation and excess handling cut directly into their profit margins.
We have helped them design solutions that work for them while working within the boundaries of Oracle WMS.
Extend but never change core functionality, has always been our mantra and while challenging, we have successfully adhered to it with WWT!
Bloom Energy, based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, is one of the hottest alternative energy companies in the world. As they scaled up operations from R&D focused to large scale manufacturing and distribution, they turned to Gaea Global to put in place a robust scalable infrastructure that would serve their current needs and allow for future expansion.
We had been talking to them off and on for over a year, before they decided to buy and implement Oracle WMS, starting with a Phase 1 rollout of Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications.
In Phase 1, Gaea along with Redline Solutions, our hardware infrastructure partner, deployed MSCA (Manufacturing & Inventory) at 4 facilities in the Bay Area in little over a month. Manufacturing and Warehouse operations have already started using MSCA to reduce errors and drive efficiencies. WMS is to follow in Q1 of next year, and to be rolled out globally subsequently.
As part of Oracle Partner Enablement and in conjunction with Oracle, we are rolling out two technical bootcamps in November and December. The first bootcamp is to be held on November 22nd, Bangalore, India and you can register as part of Oracle Partner Network [OPN].
We are conducting the second Oracle Primavera Technical Training bootcamp on December 5th at Santa Clara, CA. Sign up here and learn from our experts on installing P6R8 and its components.
The Primavera EPPM Technical Installation Boot camp is an intensive 5 day course designed to enable participants to effectively install, configure and document from the database level to point of login into P6R8.1, the enabling technologies shipped with this version together with other Oracle applications commonly installed with P6 EPPM.
