Huawei is the largest implementation of Oracle WMS in the world. When all phases are completed, they will have over 2500 people using Oracle WMS.
We have been spearheading the Distributed WMS architecture and solution for over a year. We worked closely with Oracle WMS Development and Huawei to identify and resolve multiple issues and to go through multiple prototype and test cycles. A heartfelt thanks to all the Oracle folks who have focused so much effort and energy on Huawei!
Huawei just went live with the first Warehouse on 17th December 2011 and will roll out to other warehouses beginning 2012.
The successful completion of this project will, we believe, mark a major milestone for Oracle WMS in terms of scalability and scope.
